In this special field, the EMC Competence Center is also regarded as a renowned internationally-recognized partner. Thus, also in Japan, we conduct the licensing procedures for elevators and escalators

Incidentally, Mitsubishi Electric is one of the most innovative and thus leading manufacturers worldwide in this area. The Japanese parent company is the inventor and patent-holder of the spiral escalator, like those seen in large shopping centers. Mitsubishi Electric is also the owner of the world’s highest lift testing tower at 173 metres, which is in Inazawa, Japan. There, high-speed elevators are subjected to various rigorous test before they start normal operations in the next skyscraper generation. Before the first tests are conducted with loads of sandbags, the EMC is checked in the company’s own laboratory. The opinions of test engineers are already collected during the design phase; Cluster measurements are carried out to verify that in the final execution everything operates precisely they way it was planned to do.
